Exposition In the beginning there are three pigs and a wolf. The three pigs are all building houses from different materials. The wolf is going to be the bad guy in this story.
Rising Action
Three pigs are industrious and are all building their houses out of different materials. One builds his house out of straw, another out of wood, and the last pig builds his house out of brick.
The wolf interrupted their plan and threatened to “huff and puff and blow their houses down.”
ClimaxDuring the climax the wolf attempts to blow each house down and succeeds until he gets to the brick house and then he gets stuck! The pigs get the upper hand and the story changes direction.
Falling Action
The dumbfounded wolf climbs down a chimney and into a boiling pot of water!
Resolution
The pigs learned a valuable lesson about building your house on a solid foundation.
