The Black Cat Vocabulary

1. Solicit: (V) -to seek for (something) by earnest or respectful request, formal application, etc.
My employer was soliciting me for my birth certificate.

2. Mad: (Adj) -mentally disturbed; deranged; insane; demented.
Some serial killers are mad in their mind.

3. Succinct: (Adj) -expressed in few words; concise; terse.
I express my thoughts in succinct way.

4. Phantasm: (N) -an illusory likeness of something.
Sometimes ghosts are like phantasm.

5. Docile: (Adj) -easily managed or handled.
Dogs are very docile.

6. Disposition: (N) -the predominant or prevailing tendency of one's spirits; natural mental and emotional outlook or mood; characteristic attitude.
You arent in the dispoition to do this.

7. Sagacious: (Adj) -having or showing keen discernment, and sound judgment.
Judges show some sagacious decisions.

8. Paltry: (Adj) -lacking in importance or worth; trivial.
Some things are very paltry to me.

9. Gossamer: (N) -something delicate, light, or flimsy.
My learners permit is very gossamer to me.

10. Fidelity: (N) -faithfulness to obligations, duties, or observances.
I have my fidelity to my religioun.

11. Procure: (V) -to get by special effort; obtain or acquire.
You have to procure tog et your ankle bracers for football.

12. Allusion: (N) -the act of alluding; indirect reference:
sometimes people with problems have allusions.

13. Intemperance: (N) -excessive use of alcoholic beverages.
alcoholics have problems and are always intemperance.

14. Maltreat: (V) -to treat in a rough or cruel way; abuse.
Some people like to maltreat their animals.

15. Scruple: (N) -a moral or ethical consideration or standard that acts as a restraining force or inhibits certain actions.
I scruple myself from fighting in school.

16. Malevolence: (N) -ill will; malice; hatred.
Malevolence is something that is not good for you and you should avoid it.

17. Atrocity: (N) -the quality of being extremely or shockingly wicked, cruel, or brutal.
Sometimes you cant believe the atrocities that people commit.



18. Debauch: (N) -a period of wanton self-indulgence, an excessive party which includes consumption of alcohol.
Some people debauch themselves all the time.

19. Sentiment: (N) -a mental feeling; emotion.
I sometimes like to have sentiment feelings because its romantic.

20. Remorse: (N) -deep and painful regret for wrongdoing.
When some serial killers kill people the have no remorse for what they do.
